Lasers are installed on all heavy duty bridge saws for cutting stone, marble and granite. They are placed in line with the cutting blade, either on the supporting wall or on the tilting head, and they are important to ensure quick and accurate cuts.

Small line lasers can also be used on light duty machinery such as bench saws and tile cutters, to simulate the cutting line.

 

 

 

 

A green dot laser is usually used in quarries to indicate the exact drilling point. In this case green lasers are preferable to red lasers as they are easily visible even in daylight.
